FDA Releases Two Resources to Strengthen Collaboration and Enhance Food Safety

FDA emphasized that a prevention-based approach should be adopted to reduce foodborne illnesses caused by microbiological contamination. To further improve food safety, FDA published two web resources, "Food Safety Best Practices" and "Food Safety Root Cause Analysis," to help stakeholders better understand food safety issues and prevent recurring incidents.
